Our Story
Cheque Express began as an idea by our founder and chairman to help drive more traffic into two family-owned convenience stores. Learning firsthand all about the business and understanding unique customer needs paved the way for Cheque Express to grow rapidly. Using his background in banking and innate business sense, he was able to grow these two locations and expand services to other convenience stores and small businesses in thriving Gwinnett County. Focusing on a store within a store concept supplied a needed service to areas with high demand and led to the opening of 10 locations over a 10-year period.
After 10 years of operating these stores, he decided to focus exclusively on growing his Check Cashing business. With his expertise in the business and the support of a dedicated team Cheque Express has more than tripled the number of locations in the last 4 years. With a strong focus on safety, efficiency and friendly service, and a company-wide commitment to learning and growing Cheque Express continues to grow and strives to become your trusted financial partner! He realized he had something and after operating 10 stores across a 10-year period he began to focus exclusively on check cashing and more than doubled the number of locations in just 4 years.
