About the role

CHEQUE EXPRESS Financial, is looking for a professional and customer service-oriented bilingual (English/Spanish) Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our stores. As the store manager, you will supervise the operational and organizational standards of the store. Your duties will include undertaking administrative tasks, monitoring daily transactions and developing business strategies. The ideal candidate must be able to improve customer satisfaction and meet monthly sales goals. In addition to being an excellent communicator, you should also demonstrate outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills. 

Responsibilities

  • Management a volume of 8-10 stores as a full-time equivalent capacity.  
  • Delivering excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Creating business strategies to attract new customers, expand store traffic, and enhance profitability.
  • Employee Management: Hiring, Training, Quality validation and Evaluation. Develop and maintain a schedule for employees and hours validation.
  • Cash Management (Predictive and Emergency).
  • Revise cancelled Money Transfers to ensure we are credited.
  • Returns follow up and escalations (tier 3 check approval).
  • Responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring store compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Preparing detailed reports on transactions, customer requirements, and profits.
  • Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances, etc.)
  • Undertaking store administration duties such as managing store budgets and updating financial records.
  • Ensure the store remains clean and presentable at all times.
  • Store Materials and supplies.

Candidate requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the field of financial services
  • Strong leadership and customer management abilities. 
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Customer service-oriented with in-depth knowledge of basic business management processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to understand and utilize financial reports and legal documents to conduct business
  • High level of accountability, efficiency, and accuracy
  • Ability to operate basic business software programs
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Be able to work a flexible schedule to include days, evenings, holidays, and weekends
  • Ability to pass a background check
